Can anyone play at Palmdale Little League? NO, you must live in Palmdale Little League boundaries. Our boundaries are East of 20th Street east to the San Bernardino County Line and South of Avenue M to the San Gabriel Mountains. Waivers are available for Schools in our boundaries and special circumstances or division play. You will need to contact the Board to see if you qualify for a waiver. For Fall Ball, there are no boundaries and players can play at any league.
What is included in the registration fees? For spring registration the player receives a shirt, hat, pictures, and trophy. For fall registration the player receives a shirt and hat.
What ages can play baseball/softball? Softball we accept player’s ages 4 to 14 years of age and for baseball ages 4 to 16 years of age.
Can girls play baseball? Yes, girls can play baseball. Boys cannot play softball.
How many games are played? T-Ball and Coach Pitch play 12 games, once a week. All other divisions play 16 to 20 games, two games a week.
Where are games played? Depending on the number of sign-ups and the number of teams for baseball determines where games are played. We try to keep all games at our fields but sometimes it is necessary to play other leagues in the Antelope Valley. Softball will play at our fields and travel to the other leagues in the Antelope Valley.
How often and where are practices held? The frequency and days of practice are determined by the team manager. There are usually 1 to 2 practices a week. Most managers practice at our fields or parks in the surrounding area.
What is needed to sign my child up to play Little League? Every year a Birth Certificate and 3 proofs of residency is needed at time of registration. Please see the form Residency and Proof of birth on our website.
What if I have moved, Can I still play at your league? Yes you can. Please notify us at the time of registration. There is a form that is submit to Little League that allows the player to still play at our league.
